Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate travel pace?
Divide the total distance by the number of days. An 800 km trip over 8 days means 100 km per day — comfortable for cycling or relaxed driving.
What is a realistic daily distance?
Most drivers find 300–500 km per day comfortable; cyclists aim for 60–120 km. Above 600 km a day leaves no time for anything but the road.
Should I include rest days?
Yes — subtract rest days from your total first, or treat them as zero-distance days included in the average. The honest number prevents over-ambitious plans.
