Distance Speed Time Calculator
How far will you get at that speed?
Enter your cruising speed and driving time to see how far you will get, plus how long 100 km takes at that speed. A quick reality check before promising an arrival time — it assumes steady speed with no stops, so add time for breaks and traffic on real trips.
How it's calculated
Distance = speed × time. Time for 100 km = 100 ÷ speed, shown as hours and minutes.
Frequently asked questions
How do you calculate distance from speed and time?
Multiply speed by time. At 80 km/h for 2.5 hours you cover 200 km — the calculator also tells you that 100 km takes 1 hr 15 min at that speed.
How do I find my average speed?
Divide distance by time. A 300 km trip in 4 hours means an average of 75 km/h including any stops.
Can I work out driving time instead?
Yes, but remember time = distance ÷ speed, not the other way around. A 200 km trip at 100 km/h takes exactly 2 hours of driving.
